Nothing prevents artists from digging several styles, and even amalgamating them, in their itinerary, provided that they do not lose the foundations of their language, especially when it comes to reconciling two opposing worlds: the East and the West.
At the crossroads of the two cultures, Linjing Zhu is able to cast aside the impositions of the calligraphic tradition of her Chinese heritage, to find her way in a free figurative writing, often tinged with references to contemporary Western art. Her painting is robust and subtle, harmonious and invigorating , fluid and condensed in forms around a central theme, without making references to the semi-abstraction practiced in Chinese calligraphy.
Certainly, she is not afraid to name her models with as much force as delicacy, but she sometimes leaves them in a studied vagueness, in that she submits them beforehand to the filter of her inner vision. She is deep thinker and a thoughtful artist whose thoughts constantly govern the impulses of her brush.
This is what is recorded in the young career of Linjing Zhu. Each canvas goes through a variety of feelings. There is a lot of modesty and simplicity, and above all, a climate, a presence, which conveys more than promises.

“Jacqueline Zhu expresses his feelings with a multitude and a variety of style, the calligraphy that is part of one can say her cultural DNA …”
“… Jacqueline Zhu gives us a very important message by her small signs that seem child exercises but which, on the contrary, are a way of communicating to everyone, as St Exupery said : the most important things are invisible to the eye.”
